    Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic technique that utilizes hypnosis to access the subconscious mind. It helps to achieve positive changes when it comes to physical or mental ailments, by getting to the root of the issue.

  • Is everyone suitable for hypnotherapy?
    In general, everyone can be hypnotized. However, the person needs to be open to it and has to desire the change.

  • How effective is hypnosis?
    Hypnosis is a highly effective and scientifically recognized treatment method. It usually leads to success in just a few sessions. However, the client must be willing to allow hypnosis and desire change. It's impossible to hypnotize someone against their will or to create unwanted change.

  • How does hypnosis feel?
    Hypnosis is a natural and pleasant state. We actually experience it multiple times a day when we're daydreaming or experiencing a flow of sorts. The body is deeply relaxed, but you can hear everything, you can move, think and remember everything that happened.

  • What concerns or problems can be solved with hypnosis?
    Unless we're born with an ailment or a challenge, hypnosis can resolve or alleviate your issue by healing it at the root. Just reach out if you're not sure if hypnosis can be of help.

  • Do I lose control during hypnosis?
    No, you remain in full control the entire time. You get to decide what you do, what you say, and if change is allowed to take place. You can also leave the hypnotic state any time you want.

  • Is hypnotherapy safe?
    It is a very safe and natural treatment without any side effects. Nobody has ever been stuck in a hypnotic state and no new ailments can result from a hypnotherapy session.

  • Does hypnotherapy replace a doctor?
    Hypnotherapy should not and cannot replace a visit to the doctor. A hypnotherapist cannot give you a diagnosis, nor is he allowed to prescribe any medication. Pain-related ailments will only be treated after prior consultation with a doctor.
    However, hypnotherapy can work greatly adjacent to and in support of other conventional or alternative treatment methods.

  • How do I prepare for a hypnotherapy session?
    You need to be open to change and want to let go of old ailments, habits, or fears. You should wear comfortable clothes, and ideally have slept, eaten, and drunk enough water. Please do not consume any alcohol or drugs before a session.

  • Will my health insurance cover the sessions?
    Unfortunately, health insurance in Switzerland does not yet cover hypnotherapy sessions.

  • What if I need to cancel before a session?
    Any sessions can be canceled free of charge 24h in advance. They would be charged fully with less than 24h notice.

  • Do you offer online sessions?
    Yes, I also offer online sessions for clients who prefer the convenience of remote sessions. Online sessions can be as effective as in-person sessions. It's also possible to do the first session in person, but follow-up sessions remotely. I'm happy to discuss options that are most suitable for you in a call.
